MAKING IT IN THIS AGE
In order to make it, you need to start by building the house of success. Proverbs 24:3a. Remember you are God's building 1Corinthians 3:9. Therefore if you are God's building then God is the one to building this building of success. Before creation started in the book of Genesis as accounted to us by Moses, the world was in the form of entropy Genesis 1:1. When God came to the scene He first of all created the light so that every other thing can come to the open. Therefore in the same way, in order to successfully build this house of success you need the light to come in so that you can be able to build correctly. Hence you can't also build the house of success in a state of entropy, therefore you need to be stable to build the house of success. 2Samuel 7:10,12 ; 1Kings 4:24-25 In this age, we wrestle no against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers Ephesians 6:12 Therefore you need to enter God's rest Hebrews 4:10-14 You must have to understand that two people can be building a house but one gets finish before the other not because the one is more diligent than the other but because of the kind of house they are building? For example consider the case of a man building a bongalor and another building a sky scrapers. While the man building the bongalor is already getting in to his house completed and furnished the man building the sky scrapers may still be digging the foundation of his building. The man in the bongalor might be telling people in a way of mockery " we started building at the same time but I have finished before him..." not knowing that this man though they started together on the same day this man is thinking about something to big for a bongalor. This man leaving in a bongalor might have the opportunity to stay in house for a long while before the man building the sky scrapers even starts putting on the walls but when the sky scrapers is finally completed then will those who have been mocking shut up their mouths. Most often the days of the mockery are quickly forgotten as those who were mocking starts to congratulate your effort. Therefore brothers the journey to life is different for everybody. Take the case of Esau and Jacob while Jacob could give up his plate of food for the birth right, Esau though the elder was ready to give up the birth right for a plate of food what an irony in this life. As a man thinks so is he. To have a successful house there are stages you need to follow:
1. YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN
The wisdom you need to build the house of success comes from Jesus Christ or is found in Jesus Christ Colossians 2:3. Only in this state of rest can you make the right choice ( to do God's will for your life) Even in this state of rest, you must make up your mind to separate and attach yourself to do what God requires. Romans 12:1-2 To live this life out of the pattern of this world is a decision, feelings have nothing to do here, but you must be determined to make it God's way. Colossians 2:6-8. Remember that you need total surrenderance and you can not surrender your will to somebody whom you know nothing about. Therefore to enter the rest of God Hebrews 4:11, you need to believe John 3:14-16, but to remain in God's rest you need faith Hebrews 11:1,6 and faith can only come when you remain constantly in the word of God Romans 10:17 Therefore as you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour stay in Him by studying the word of God everyday Acts 20:32. "An increase in the word of God in you, increases the faith you have and so increases God's grace in your life 2Peter 3:18 Remember that the word of God is Jesus Himself Revelation 19:13; John 1:1,14. Therefore when God says surrender your life to Jesus, He means surrender your life to the written words of the scriptures; therefore what He says that your will do.
2. STAY IN THE FAITH
To be firm in the faith or in Christ will mean, establishing your house of success, meaning nothing can shake that vision you have; your believe in Jesus for prosperity, for good health, for a child etc. as touching the promises of God to you. Hence for this house to stand you need understanding Proverbs 24:3b. Understanding is a knowledge of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Proverbs 9:10 Therefore now that you have recieved Jesus Christ as your Lord, you need to be rooted in the word of God laying more emphasis on the words and deeds of Jesus as He walked the streets of this earth. Proverbs 4:20-27 Remember that we are followers of Christ, hence you can not immitate a person whom you have not seen, or known his biography therefore in order for you to be a good follower of Jesus you must understand His life style on earth how, when, why, He acted the way He did where He did it and how that can be applied to your life today. Praying is of uttermost important to every Christian hence the bible advice us to pray without seizing. Therefore in everything you do prayer must take the lead because only by prayer can you communicate to God and only then can you be so connected that the deep things of the kingdom are reviewed to you. The more you are connected to the word of God the more you gain an awareness on how to commit yourself to God in prayers. The bible says the just shall live by faith Habakkuk 2:4; Romans 1:17; Galatians 3:11: Hebrews 10:38 As you live by the dictates of the word of God your spirit gains mastering of the instructions of the Holy Spirit and gradually gets into an intimacy with the Holy Spirit and the more you continue in obedience the more the voice of the Holy Spirit becomes more audible and clearer to you. Isaiah 30:21. Because the kingdom of God and the kingdom of heaven can only be archieved by a walk in the Holy Spirit; as you continue in this, your faith will increase and so the grace upon your life increase. Then you can do true sacrifices for the Lord by fasting, giving, and even in dedication.Luke 6:12; John 4:31-34 At this level nothing can stop your prayer 1Thessalonians 5:17, 23-24; Matthew 17:20-21 You are more rooted in the Lord hence you are being established in the kingdom as you obtain more testimonies in the kingdom. I must assure you that the more you continue in the faith, in the same way and rate your testimonies will increase Hebrews 6:4-6; 1Peter 2:3 At this point, I know you may be asking that you have not yet realised your dream. Don't worry. Galatians 6:9. As you continue in the faith and don't stop nor decide to take a spiritual holiday, don't be worried God does not fail those He love 1Thessalonian 5:24. God will always reward those who seek Him diligently. Jeremiah 29:11-14; 33:3. Therefore patience is to watch and pray. Matthew 26:41; Mark 13:33; 14:38; 1Thessalonians 5:6; 1Peter 4:7. As you continue to watch before the Lord, He is the well of wisdom and knowledge in every field of life Colossians 2:3. As God taught Hannah what to do to get her solution to her problem, He will reveal detail wisdom and understanding on how to handle your problem until you prosper in it releasing you to an outstanding testimony. 1Samuel 1:9-10; 1Chronicles 21:18-28.
3. MAKING YOUR FAITH TO PRODUCE RESULT
Eventhough you have found rest in Christ you need a complete knowledge of that thing you want to do to prosper. Whatever is your vision that you want to excel in you need know in it so as to make it. Eventhough God wants you to make an effort to succeed Luke 13:24 you don't just strive anyhow; you need to strive by His instruction and guidance otherwise destruction will be your portion though you are a child of God ( Proverbs 3:5-7 otherwise 1Corinthians 1:19-21) Only God can show you the right thing to do, no matter how educated you may think you are or the amount of human knowledge you have acquired. Philippians 2:12-13; Mark 13:11. Hence as you pray ask God to grant you knowledge in the field where you want to excel in and ask Him also for favour. 2Kings 7:3-11 God favoured the lepers. Only through know can riches be acquired Proverbs 24:4
CONCLUSION
These are great steps to success, I must congratulate you, that because you have followed these principles to divine success, success is coming at your door steps in an owesome measure. Praise God. Congratulation as you move into your world of wonders and glory. Isaiah 26:7; Proverbs 4:18. If you just read the steps then pray this prayer after me Lord Jesus, You made me for your glory Isaiah 43:7 Therefore Lord glorify Yourself in me John 17:5 So that I will be a wonder in the eyes of mankind Isaiah 55:12 Lord as I diligently seek Your face, provide for me and give me a testimony, in Jesus name Amen Because you have asked of God go and be bless as you serve the Lord, you have entered into a covenant with God for daily testimonies and so shall it be in Jesus name.
